The largest delegation sent by Campeche in the history of its participation in the Tourist Tianguis, concluded activities in the 2023 edition of this world-class event, in which the representatives of our state established 1,365 business appointments from the 26th to the 29th of March in Mexico City, announced the state head of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) Mauricio Arceo Piña.
The Campechana representation was made up of 50 business suites, among which the magical towns of Isla Aguada and Palizada stand out, the tourist offer of the municipalities of Calakmul, Candelaria; as well as the exhibited attractions of Campeche, Dzibalchén, Carmen, Isla Arena, Calakmul and Champotón.
Businessmen from Campeche made known the natural, cultural and historical attractions that our entity has and exchanged proposals with wholesale tour operators, travel agents, tourist associations, incentive houses, event organizers, congresses and conventions.
For his part, the head of the Sectur Campeche, Arceo Piña, held meetings with secretaries of Tourism from the Mayan world region. Likewise, an agreement was signed with the Mexican Association of Adventure Tourism and Ecotourism (Amtave) to establish the mechanisms for promoting nature and cultural tourism.
The exchange of proposals related to the Mayan Train was also carried out, such as the delivery of the study «Campeche-Calkiní Corridor Tourism Development Program». In addition to the signing of collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and the National Fund for Tourism Promotion to develop the tourism development program for Calakmul within the framework of «The Great Ecotourism Route of Mexico».

Campeche arranca su participación en la edición 47 del Tianguis Turístico México 2023 que se realiza en la Ciudad de México, del 26 al 29 de marzo de este año, con una delegación encabezada por el titular de Turismo del Estado, Mauricio Arceo Piña.
Este evento es el más relevante del sector turístico del país, ya que concentra un foro de negocios basado en citas preestablecidas entre compradores y expositores nacionales de los 32 estados de la República e internacionales.
La inauguración del pabellón de los 32 estados de la República, estuvo a cargo del secretario de Turismo federal, Miguel Torruco Márquez, la jefa de gobierno de la Ciudad de México, Claudia Sheinbaum y los 32 secretarios de turismo del país.
Como parte de las actividades de promoción y difusión de los atractivos y servicios turísticos que distinguen a Campeche, la delegación campechana está presente en feria turística con una participación de 50 personas, compuesta por empresarios del sector turístico, cámaras y asociaciones de la industria y delegaciones de los municipios de Carmen, Candelaria, Palizada y Calakmul.
Con el fin de resaltar los atractivos turísticos con los que cuenta el estado, el stand fue inspirado en la estación del Tren Maya que estará establecida en Escárcega, y en el cual Campeche expuso cuatro rutas, segmentadas en destinos de aventura, colonial y artesanal, gastronómico y maya.
Cabe resaltar que el participar en este evento le dará la oportunidad a la Delegación de Campeche y a los más de 700 expositores del país de interactuar con empresas de los cinco continentes que se dedican a comprar servicios turísticos.
Por su parte el secretario de Turismo de Campeche, Arceo Piña, comentó que se esperan buenos resultados, ya que es la delegación más grande en la historia de la participación de Campeche en el Tianguis Turístico.

En el marco de las actividades del Tianguis Turístico 2023, a un día de celebrarse este evento, se llevó a cabo la inauguración del Festival Turístico, a cargo del secretario de Turismo Federal, Miguel Torruco Marqués, en el que lo acompañó el titular de la SECTUR Mauricio Arceo Piña, y en el cual Campeche estará promoviendo sus artesanias y prinicipales atractivos del Estado. Campeche estará prensente del 25 al 27 de Marzo en el Festival Turístico, ubicado en Paseo Reforma, de la Ciudad de México, y el cual tiene como objetivo promover las principales riquezas culturales, artesanales, naturales e historicas de nuestro estado. En el stand participan artesanos de las diferentes regiones con productos 100% campechanos, con el apoyo de ProCampeche. Durante este festival se busca posicionar a Campeche y reforzar la promoción turística previa al periodo vacacional de semana santa, mostrando al mundo los principales atractivos turísticos con los que cuenta cada municipio.
En el acto protocolario de inauguración el titular de la SECTUR Federal, mencionó que “El turismo debe ser una auténtica herramienta de reconciliación social”, asimismo destacó que esta 47 edición del Tianguis Turístico ha roto todos los records de las 46 ediciones pasadas de este importante evento. Por su parte, Arceo Piña comentó la importancia de estar presente en la feria turística más importante de México, ya que Campeche es un Estado que tiene mucho por promocionar. “Estamos seguros que tendremos buenos resultados para el estado en materia turística, despues de la participación en el Tianguis Turístico 2023”.

En el marco de actividades del Tianguis Turístico 2021, con el fin de fortalecer el turismo en Campeche y la importancia de la unión de los Estados del Golfo, el titular de la Secretaría de Turismo, Mauricio Arceo Piña, participó en la firma del Convenio Interestatal de Colaboración y Cooperación en materia turística para la denominada “Escalera Náutica del Golfo de México” que se conforma por Yucatán, Campeche, Tabasco, Tamaulipas y Veracruz. Con este documento, los encargados del turismo en dichas entidades ponen en marcha el programa para fortalecer el sector náutico de la región, trabajando en conjunto para impulsar el turismo a través de acciones para el intercambio de información y diseño que apoyen la planeación, operación, promoción, comercialización y difusión de estrategias prioritarias de interés común para los Estados del Golfo de México. Durante la firma del convenio se dejó claro que el turismo náutico y de cruceros es una oportunidad con mucho que ofrecer tanto a la industria turística nacional, como internacional; dicha industria representa una oferta adicional a los destinos de sol y playa, basta señalar que México es el país número uno en visitas de cruceros del mundo. De acuerdo con lo programado, el Presidente arribará a Mérida en vuelo comercial procedente de la Ciudad de México a las 12:30 horas para trasladarse al Centro de Convenciones y Exposiciones Yucatán Siglo XXI, donde junto con el gobernador Mauricio Vila Dosal, realizará la inauguración del evento.
También el día de mañana a las 10:00 horas, se realizará en el Centro Internacional de Congresos (CIC) de Mérida, la LXV Reunión Ordinaria de la Conferencia Nacional de Gobernadores (Conago), a la que han sido convocados los 32 mandatarios del país.
Ante la realización de esta reunión, se prevé el arribo a Yucatán de los gobernadores la tarde de este lunes.
Como se informó en su oportunidad, la más reciente visita del presidente López Obrador a la entidad fue el jueves 28 de octubre pasado, para supervisar los trabajos de construcción del Tren Maya.
También encabezó una reunión con el gabinete de seguridad federal y el gobernador Mauricio Vila y ofreció su acostumbrada conferencia de prensa matutina.
El Tianguis Turístico 2021 se suspendió hace dos años por la pandemia del Covid-19 y en esta ocasión reunirá a más de 56 expositores del mundo y del ramo de la industria sin chimeneas.

A range of more than 100 tourist attractions will be presented by the state of Yucatán at the Tianguis Turístico de México (TTM), which will be held in Mérida from November 16 to 19 this year.
Among them, a Maya theme park that will feature cenote diving, exploration of caves, Maya villages, Meliponarios, extreme sports, and its emblematic archaeological zones, informed the head of the Tourism Development Secretariat (Sefotur), Michel Fridman Hirsch.
The official added that the TTM includes the presentation of the Xibalbá theme park, located in the municipality of Valladolid, of the Xcaret Group, which will trigger the arrival of visitors to that area of the State.
She added that the tourism promotion campaign “365 days in Yucatan” will also be launched internationally since a visitor can spend a year in the entity to be able to enjoy the great diversity of tourist attractions, ranging from archaeological zones, cenotes, theme parks focused on the May world and much more.
Biosafety
Another aspect that stood out is the biosecurity necessary to receive a large number of TTM participants, in which there will be a before and after of this maximum national tourism event.
“We are going to work on that, on taking advantage of this crisis, not only building better tourism, but also a new way of making a tourist market, with changes that have been needed for a long time. We do not intend to return to the same model as two, three years ago, we want to be a watershed, (make) an innovative, more efficient, and more in line with current needs, ” she argued.
She recalled that the TTM will be held from November 16 to 19, which is why we are working so that buyers from markets such as Europe, America and Asia attend the event.
