With a strict hygiene and sanitary measures protocol, the «Poem of the Sea” Marine Fountains located on the city’s boardwalk will resume their functions this Friday, August 21 with 30 percent of their capacity, allowing a maximum of one hundred attendees per show.
Through a preventive visit, the heads of the Secretariat of Health, Dr. José Luis González Pinzón and of the Secretariat of Culture (SECULT), Delio Carrillo Pérez, accompanied by state police personnel, designated the spaces and logistics necessary to preserve the health of the assistants.
In this way, a single space was enabled for access and another for exit, and a maximum of one hundred people may enter for each function. When accessing, the support staff will indicate to the attendees the sanitary, safe distance and personal protection measures that must be followed in the installation.
Attendees must avoid crowds previous to their entrance, must wear mouth covers at all moment, apply antibacterial gel before access and respect the designated places in the grandstand area, always respecting a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between each visitor.
In this way, the show will have the following schedule: on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the functions will be at 20:00. Saturdays and Sundays there will be two functions per day, at 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
A visit was also made to the Museum of the «The Palace» Cultural Center, a space that will start operations during the first days of September.
