The plenary session of the Mexican Petroleum Congress agreed and approved Campeche as the venue for its 2023 national meeting, which means great news for Campeche residents, given its importance and the economic benefit generated by bringing together more than 7,000 participants, not only from Mexico, but from other parts of the world.
The designation of Campeche as the host state was announced last Saturday night at the closing of this congress in its 2022 edition held in Villahermosa, Tabasco. For the first time, our entity will host this important meeting that will take place from June 7 to 10, 2023.
The Governor Layda Sansores San Román attended this event as a special guest, leading the delegation of state officials, including the general coordinator of her office, Armando Toledo Jamit, and the Secretary of Tourism, Mauricio Arceo Piña.
The plenary session of the Mexican Petroleum Congress announced its decision to designate the capital of Campeche as the event venue for the works, given its colonial, archaeological and historical tourist attractions, which was decisive in organize it here, and at the same time it is a response from the commitment of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to turn a gaze to the South-Southeast
