«It is urgent that teachers also care about the mental health of each of the students, knowing how they feel, what hurts them, what bothers them and what they need,» said Governor Layda Sansores San Román during the inauguration ceremony of the National Meeting of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) that takes place today and tomorrow in the capital of Campeche, within the framework of the International Day against Violence and Harassment at School including Cyberbullying.
In the presence of authorities that are members of the Network, from France, Morocco, Qatar and Mexico, the Governor emphasized that now, with the joint strategies that the UNESCO Associated Schools Network will establish, children and young people will have the mechanisms that They will allow them to say how much work costs them, what hurts and hurts them.

For her part, in her inaugural speech, the Secretary of Education and president of CONALMEX, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, highlighted that according to the NGO’s figures in Mexico, eight out of 10 children suffer some type of violence every day and bullying. In a virtual way, educational authorities from France, Morocco and Mexico issued a message for the International Day against Violence and Harassment at School including Cyberbullying, agreeing that it is urgent to work in coordination between the 123 member states of UNESCO, the partners of the United Nations, civil society organizations and other stakeholders, to prevent and eliminate violence in the school environment, including cyberbullying.
