WORK TOUR IN CIUDAD DEL CARMEN

In compliance with the instructions of the Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González, the head of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) Jorge Manos Esparragoza, in coordination with Oscar Román Rosas González, Municipal President of Carmen and Juan Carlos Franco Naal, Municipal Commissioner of Isla Aguada, they held the meeting to reactivate nautical tourism in the island town.

Subsequently, the owners toured the Isla Aguada boardwalk, accompanied by the nautical service providers, who have already restarted the walks following the recommendations of the Harbor Master’s Office in the Jurisdiction of Carmen.

As part of the meeting, the Ministry of Health, with the endorsement of the Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks of the State of Campeche (COPRISCAM) urged them to adhere to the provisions of the agreement establishing the Specific Technical Guidelines for Reopening of Economic Activities.

Then, at the Carmen City Hall, headed by Mayor Rosas González, a meeting was held with José Antonio del Río González, Secretary for Sustainable Energy Development (SEDESU) and Victoria Álvarez, President of the Carmen Hotels Association, who gave prompt follow-up to the agreements established with the Hotel Association.

Working together with the governing bodies is the key to achieving a prompt economic reactivation on the island, said the head of the Sectur Manos Esparragoza.
