Governor of the state of campeche Carlos Miguel Aysa González evaluated in a videoconference with the Secretary of the Interior, Olga Sánchez Cordero, the current situation of COVID-19 in the entity, the sufficient existence of supplies and equipment to attend the health emergency and the coordinated actions that the three orders of government carry out to reduce the cases of community contagions.
During the remote link, in which other leaders from the south of the country also participated, Aysa González reported that yesterday the State Coordinating Center COVID-19 was installed to strengthen with the Federation immediate attention to any needs that may arise, from the past March 2, with the participation of federal, state, municipal and Armed Forces authorities, the State Committee on Health Safety is in permanent session.
He added that with the close coordination of the three levels of government, the measures recommended by the health authorities at the global and federal levels have been implemented, and the entire health infrastructure has been strengthened with sufficient medical equipment, both by trained professional personnel. such as supplies, medications, ventilators, diagnostic tests, beds and protective material.
The videoconference was attended by the Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón; the director of the Institute of Health for Well-being (Insabi), Juan Antonio Ferrer; the Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell; the general directors of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), Zoé Robledo and of the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (Issste), Luis Antonio Ramírez Pineda; the national coordinator of Civil Protection, David León Romero, and undersecretaries of Health and the Interior.
