Governor Layda Sansores witnessed today, as a special guest, the Ceremony of Protest to Charge, Inauguration and Flag Protest of General Bernabé Bernardo Chávez Lira as the new commander of the 33rd. Military zone that took place this day in the facilities of the Tenth Infantry Battalion.


Accompanied by the Secretary of Government, Aníbal Ostoa Ortega, the Governor witnessed the martiality and honors of the Mexican Army in the ceremony headed by the commander of the Tenth Military Region, General Homero Méndez Ruiz.


At the end of the ceremony, and outside the program, the commanders of the Tenth Region and the 33rd. Military Zone greeted the Governor and ratified her commitment to contribute to the work carried out by her administration in terms of security and social peace.


Ms. Sansores San Román celebrated the disposition and reaffirmed her commitment to work as a team every day from the Table for the Construction of Peace and Security, where common efforts and strategies are joined to maintain Campeche as one of the two safest states in the country.


The event was also attended by the Chief of Staff of the Seventh Naval Zone, Fidencio Vega Dávila; the commissioner of the National Guard in the State, Rodrigo Lozano Lúcido; the Secretary of Protection and Citizen Security, Marcela Muñoz Martínez, as well as the deputy prosecutor, Jackson Villacís Rosado, on behalf of the State Attorney General, Renato Sales Heredia.
