In support of the instructions of Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González, to assist in the care of the needs of the population of the municipality of Tenabo, Jorge Enrique Manos Esparragoza, head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) in coordination with the General secretariats of Government (SEGOB), Social and Human Development (SEDESYH), Rural Development (SDR), Civil Protection (SEPROCI) and Public Security (SSPCAM) carried out actions to help the population affected by the passage of tropical storm «Cristóbal».
The first joint activity was the evaluation of the damages generated, for which they visited the communities of Xkuncheil, Emiliano Zapata and Kankí, verifying floods in cultivation areas, mainly vegetables. Also, in a coordinated manner, pantries were delivered, as well as food rations in the affected communities, with the support of the ejido authorities.
With these actions the Executive Power of the State reaffirms its commitment to support the population in the event of contingencies due to climatological causes.
