Continuing with the work of disseminating the artistic and cultural scene of the state, the Secretary of Culture of the Executive Power of Campeche (SECULT) through its program «Campeche Culture At Home», will continue throughout the National Day of Healthy Distance with the transmission of concerts, recitals, dance performances, theater and other art disciplines through its official social networks.
During the week of April 20 to 25, the state SECULT will offer digital content of theater, music and literature, which will be available on all official social networks with the Culture Campeche profile.
Monday April 20 at 11:00 am, the group “Rojo Cielo”, made up of students from the Cultural Center “El Claustro”, will perform the song “Moliendo café” by the composer José Manso Perroni, a melody that was made famous by various singers. Young people are students of the Comprehensive Music Training Program of this Cultural Center.
Then, on Tuesday, April 21, the fifth part of the theatrical saga «Los Grandes Muertos», entitled «La Sota» and directed by José Caballero, will be broadcast at 7:00 p.m. The staging, based on the literary work of Luisa Josefina Hernández, is performed by members of the National Theater Company of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (INBAL). The drama, set in the colonial Campeche, tells a love story where factors such as social classes, old customs and distance, will test a relationship that seeks to consummate itself above all things.
On Wednesday April 22, Nayeli Borges, collaborator of the State Public Central Library “Lic. Francisco Sosa Escalante ”will bring us“ Words in motion ”, literary recommendations and readings, which on this occasion will present“ Complete Stories ”by Inés Arredondo, at 11:00 o’clock.
Later, on Thursday the 23rd, the Youth Chamber Orchestra of the Cultural Center “El Claustro”, will perform online for the Campeche public the Piano Concerto No. 1, K37, in FA major by Wolfang Amadeus Mozart, with Alejandro as guest conductor Conde, teacher at the music faculty of the Universidad Veracruzana. The fragment that will sound on social networks at 7:00 p.m., was extracted from a concert held in 2019 in our city, in which the results of the musical consultations given to the Chamber Orchestra by the Veracruz artist were shown.
To start the weekend and enjoy the best of dance without leaving home, Elienai Flores, a Dance student at the Cultural Center «El Claustro», will dance a fragment of the symphony «Palladio» by Karl Jenkins, on Friday 24 April at 11:00 am and on April 25 the sixth part of “The Great Dead”, entitled “Los Médicos”, will be broadcast, with Arturo Beristain’s adjunct address at 7:00 pm.
