During a work tour of the southern municipalities of the State, in head of the Secretariat of Tourism, Jorge Enrique Manos Esparragoza, visited the municipalities of Palizada, Escárcega and Champotón, in order to give to the tourism services providers certificates Modernize and Register National Tourism.
The Moderniza Certificate allows companies to incorporate effective tools and modern administrative practices into their way of operating, which allow them to improve customer satisfaction, staff performance and business control; reduce waste; and increase its profitability, in order to make the company more competitive so that it can offer quality services to tourists and promote the development of a culture of continuous improvement.
The National Tourism Registry is a public catalog of tourism service providers in the country, which constitutes the mechanism by which information on tourism service providers at the national level can be obtained, in order to know better the tourism market and establish communication with companies when required.
Manos Esparragoza urged providers to continue with the application of sanitary and biosafety protocols that have made it possible to minimize the contagion of employees, visitors and the community; and he also invited them to continue preparing to receive visitors with warmth and quality, reiterating that the next holiday season is approaching and a significant influx of tourists are expected, so it is important not to lower your guard.
