PLAYA DEL CARMEN.- On Tuesday morning, a fire was reported at the Grand Palladium Hotel in the Riviera Maya.
According to reports, the fire broke out in the hotel’s laundry area, but minutes later it reached the palapa where access is given to the hotel lobby.
This was growing out of control, until 911 was called so that the firefighters in the area attended the fire and were able to put them out.
Immediately afterwards, Civil Protection and Firefighters from Playa Del Carmen arrived at the hotel, managing to put out the fire.
For its part, the Solidaridad city council reported on its Twitter account that the events were recorded in two palapas at the Grand Palladium hotel located on the Puerto Aventuras – Tulum highway.
They also indicated that they were able to control the incident successfully, without reporting injuries.
