The headquarters of the X Military Region (Mérida, Yuc.) And 33 / a. Military Zone (Campeche, Camp.) Reports that, as part of the actions implemented by the Government of Mexico on the occasion of the health contingency originated by COVID-19 and within the framework of the application of PLAN DN-III-E, in Coordination with the Government of the State of Campeche, on June 1, 2020, the Hospitalization Operational Unit located inside the Military Camp on 10 / o. Infantry Battalion, is ready to start activities as soon as the State Health Secretariat indicates that 70% of capacity has been reached in all occupancy of the Hospitals designated to attend to cases of COVID-19.
The reconverted operating unit was equipped with 30 hospital beds, with Equipment, Medical Supplies, as well as Medical Security Equipment, the staff that will provide care is made up of 13 Doctors and 12 nurses (civil and military), Administrative and technical personnel.
This military medical facility, domiciled at Av. Juan Escutia, between Av. Juan de la Barrera, Colonia Buenavista, C.P. 24039, will attend to non-serious patients with COVID-19 complaints referred by personnel from the State Health Secretariat.
With these actions, the Ministry of National Defense contributes to the health contingency with the efforts of the Federal and State Government, through the application of PLAN DN-III-E, in order to guarantee the health and well-being of Campechanos.
