MUNICIPALITIES OF SEYBAPLAYA AND PALIZADA TO IDENTIFY TOURIST AREAS AND IMPLEMENT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS

To identify spaces of tourist interest, contribute to the improvement of the image and strengthening the social fabric, authorities from the Secretariat of Administrative Modernization and Government Innovation (SEMAIG) together with representatives of the Urban Heart Civil Association, toured the municipalities of Seybaplaya and Palizada .

Corazón Urbano is a non-profit civil association with presence in several states of the Republic such as Morelia, Michoacán, Guadalajara and Jalisco. Its programs are aimed at rescuing and improving public spaces, the urban environment, housing, facades, bridges, fences, squares, whereabouts, neighborhoods, parks, schools, through the organization and training of families.

During the visit both municipalities, Ernesto Dávila Castro, from the General Directorate of Municipal Relations of the SEMAIG, accompanied the representatives of the referred civil organization, Leonardo Monge and Omar García Hernández.

The objective is to coordinate joint actions, in such a way that the group grants economic support or in-kind support the State Government links the appropriate cooperation with the municipality, following up and working with the support of the neighbors for the beautification of the community and the colony rescue.

These actions allow giving a new face to the municipalities, while promoting the social development of the population with the improvement of the urban environment.

Dávila Castro pointed out that on the instructions of the head of SEMAIG, Miguel Ángel Gallardo López, a work tour was carried out through Seybaplaya and Palizada to locate the possible places in which they could implement this strategy through an analogous evaluation of the main Tourist sites.

Also present during the tour were the Planning Director of Seybaplaya, Luis Chan Navarrete; the director of Social and Economic Development of Seybaplaya, Ramón Rivera Medina; as well as the director and deputy director of Palizada Planning, José Martínez Díaz and Sandro Tellez Moo, respectively.
