CAMPECHANAS AND CAMPECHANOS:

Faced with the emergency represented by COVID 19, I want to inform you that the State Committee on Health Safety has been working to take each and every one of the pertinent measures to protect society.

At all times, we have been in permanent coordination with federal and municipal agencies to help make preventive actions more effective.

Today and always, the health of campechanos comes first. And for this reason, I announce the measures agreed this morning in plenary session of the Committee, to strengthen virus prevention.

• The activities of the dependencies of the Executive Branch of the State are suspended indefinitely; and only the essential areas that by their nature cannot be stopped will continue to operate, including health, public safety, law enforcement and civil protection.

Campechanos, be attentive to the indications provided by the Health Committee. We must abide by each and every measure in order to safeguard the health of our population.

We are complying with the established protocols and we must follow all healthy distance measures.

Although the state situation remains stable, we must not let our guard down. Health workers are doing their best. I recognize the entire sector for their dedication and commitment to the campechanos.

Today more than ever, you have to stay home. Let’s take care of ourselves, protect ourselves and don’t risk our families. Let’s follow the official information. This is a decisive moment to prevent the number of infections from growing rapidly.

The size of this emergency must be the size of our preventive response.

Campeche has to keep moving forward. We work every day to guarantee the supply of the necessary products and the safety of all.

Campechanos are a united, responsible and hard-working society. Together we will move forward to continue building the future of Campeche.

THANK YOU THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
