Fourth edition of the triathlon successfully concludes the Americans Matthew Hanson and Jackie Hering, with a time of 3 hours 48 minutes and 57 seconds, and 4 hours 16 minutes and 48 seconds, respectively, claimed first place in the men’s and women’s elite categories of the fourth edition of the Ironman 70.3 Campeche Sunset 2020, which concluded this afternoon with resounding success.


In a ceremony held in the Plaza de la República, they also received their respective second place medals, Jackson Laundry, from Canada, corresponding to the elite men’s category, by registering a score of 3 hours 50 minutes 9 seconds, and Sarah True, from the United States. , from the elite women’s branch, with 4 hours 23 minutes and 38 seconds.
For being in third place in the elite men’s and women’s categories, the Austrian Michael Weiss received time medals of 3 hours 52 minutes 24 seconds, and the American Danielle Dingman, who timed 4 hours 37 minutes and 49 seconds.
The awards were presented by the Secretary of Planning, Tirzo García Sandoval, representative of the Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González, and the holders of the Sectur, Jorge Manos Esparragoza; from the Social Communication Unit, Carlos Medina Hernández, and from the Sports Institute of the State of Campeche, Jorge Carlos Hurtado Montero.
