Following the instructions of Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González, the head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) Jorge Manos Esparragoza, participated in the presentation of the new model of the Clean Point Quality Seal V2020, through a virtual press conference held by the secretary. Federal Tourism Board Miguel Torruco Marqués.
The aim of this seal is to promote the incorporation of good hygiene practices in the management models of micro, small and medium-sized tourist companies in order to protect the health of their clients, their workers and the communities.
It is a recognition that the Ministry of Tourism grants to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Tourism Sector (restaurants, hotels, cafes, travel agencies, car rental companies, dive operators, leisure and entertainment centers, among others.) , for having implemented the methodology developed by SECTUR and applied by specialized consultants, registered with the Ministry, in order to obtain the Quality Seal, which assesses the Training of Managers, Hygienic Quality, Good Practices by Business Unit, Assurance Quality, Consulting and Validation.
Thanks to the modular structure of this new Clean Point Quality Seal 2020 model, good practices can be integrated into business management processes, through training and advisory actions, taking as a platform the concept of hygienic quality; Federal authorities noted that this new model is a stimulus to activity, it is voluntary and therefore not mandatory.
It should be noted that this Seal is the only one that has the endorsement of the health and labor authorities of the country.
Jorge Manos pointed out that working to maintain the well-being of tourism service providers is the primary purpose to safeguard the health of visitors.
