• They bring fresh produce from there garden at low cost to popular neighborhoods

Faced with the need to look for more and better options that support the families of Campeche in the face of the measures taken by the pandemic generated by the Covid-19, on the instructions of Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa, the Food Security Program of the Supply Committee of the State of Campeche began , where dependencies such as the Secretaries of Social and Human Development (SEDESYH), Rural Development (SDR), Fisheries and Aquaculture  (SEPESCA) and Economic Development  (SEDECO) participate.

Since the installation of the Supply Committee, it was specified the coordination, distribution and monitoring mechanisms that would be put in place so that the families of Campeche do not lack anything. Part of these measures is the Itinerant Market that is coordinated by  a SEDESYH, SDR, SEDECO and SEPESCA.  and that started yesterday with the sale of fresh products from the garden in popular neighborhoods.

By offering “From the garden to your table” products, the itinerant market is a supply option, which not only supports local producers, but also the families’ economy, since the products offered are at low cost and during their production they respect the sanitary measures recommended by the healthy distance campaign, to avoid contagion and the spread of the virus.

Thus, as the State Government in support of the campechanos, makes available to families one more option of supplying vegetables, fruit and farm products, in addition to other measures that have been carried out through Sepesca, such as advancing the payment of the closure and low catch program to the fishing sector, and the pantries and distribution of two tons of fish to 500 families from different suburb that the DIF State System carries out among the population in a vulnerable situation.
