Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González reaffirmed that health and safety are priority issues in his administration, so coordinated efforts will continue to be redoubled to maintain conditions of stability and social harmony in the state.
In leading the videoconference of the State Table for the Construction of Peace from the offices of the Government Palace, the governor emphasized his recognition of the medical personnel who daily put their lives at risk.
“Every day we must recognize the commitment and vocation with which they seek the good of the people of Campeche; regardless of the time in which they are immersed in their responsibility or the risks they run, they remain at the forefront of the battle against the virus, ”he explained.
He said that it will continue working as a team with the other two levels of government to strengthen coordinated actions to care for the population during the pandemic; insist on the call to society to follow the sanitary recommendations and distribute more protection supplies such as the mask.
He stressed that efforts are concentrated on strengthening medical equipment and applying measures that help contain the virus, but also on making people aware that their participation is the most important thing to go down in the contagion curve and in the reduction of the deaths.
«We have to continue urging people to get used to applying hygiene and prevention measures such as healthy distance and confinement, these steps will help us maintain stable conditions and begin to see better results,» he said.
He asserted that although the pandemic has disrupted the economic issue, the reactivation is taking place gradually and the public work continues without stopping, a situation that is paying for Campeche to be one of the entities with the lowest unemployment effects.
