GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF CAMPECHE CARLOS MIGUEL AYSA GONZÁLEZ HEADS MEETING OF THE STATE COORDINATING CENTER COVID-19

At the meeting of the State Coordinating Center COVID-19, Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González gave thanked to the support that Campeche has received from the Army and Navy during the health emergency, while considering that due to the new instructions that the president has issued Andrés Manuel López Obrador, teamwork will be further strengthened for the benefit of the population.

At the Governors House, Aysa González reiterated to the federal and state officials presenta, his call to continue working as a team to guarantee the safety and health of the families from Campeche.

From his part, the representative of the National Guard reported that, in coordination with the security authorities of the other entities in the southeast, security is provided on federal roads for cargo transportation.

Likewise, the Health Secretary, José Luis González Pinzón, reported that 296 infected people have been registered in the state since the first case was detected as of the date; 143 of them have recovered, 31 have died and to the date there are 122 active cases.

He reiterated his call for the inhabitants to act with greater responsibility in the coming weeks and to continue applying the healthy distance and the recommended hygiene measures.

Meanwhile, the manager of Health Security in Pemex Exploration and Production Marine Region, José Antonio Tovar Iglesias, also recognized the support that the state government, the Army and the Navy grant to the company to guarantee the safety of the workers.

In addition, they introduce the rapid tests application program for the personnel who will go up to the oil facilities, thereby strengthening the sanitary measures that the health sector applies to all personnel.

Among the authorities present were the Secretary General of the Government, Pedro Armentía López; of Public Security, Jorge Argáez Uribe; of Social and Human Development, Christian Castro Bello, and the delegate of federal development programs, Katia Meave Ferniza.
