CHAMPOTÓN – «We will continue strengthening health services throughout the state with first-rate equipment to guarantee immediate and quality care,» said Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González during the delivery of basic emergency ambulances to the communities of Hool, Santo Domingo Kesté and Sihochac, with an investment of three million 98 thousand 244 pesos.
During his work tour, in which he was accompanied by the Secretary of Health, José Luis González Pinzón and the Mayor Daniel Martín León Cruz, the President promised to supply medicines and equipment to health centers.
At the same time, he urged doctors from each of the communities to make good use of ambulances and provide quality care to the population.
Meanwhile, the presidents of the municipal boards of Hool, Nadia Militza Ortega Pérez, and Sihochac, Miriam del Carmen Nah Jiménez, thanked the governor for the delivery of the new medical units, since the ones they had in operation are very old and did not count with the right equipment.
Each unit delivered has a cost of one million 32 thousand 748 pesos and is equipped with an adult and pediatric sphygmomanometer, a binaural stethoscope, an oxygen tank glucometer, a fixed stretcher and a stretcher trolley, aspiration instrument, cabinet, medications and work table.
Aysa González, applying the recommendations of the health authorities, responded to various requests from the inhabitants, including the improvement of streets and schools.
