To strengthen the development and full inclusion of people with disabilities in all areas of life and guarantee equal rights and opportunities, Governor Layda Sansores installed, in an extraordinary solemn session, the State Council on Disability (COEDIS) made up of authorities from the three levels of government and civil associations.
«We work as a team, because we are united by an invisible thread that is love for our land, between us there is no distinction of colors, only the conviction of working for our people», emphasized the Governor in the presence of the Secretary of Government, Aníbal Ostoa, and the general director of Social Integration, Rubén Ernesto Martínez Rodríguez, on behalf of Nuria Fernández Espresate, head of the National DIF.
At the Casa de los Gobernadores Cultural Center, Sansores San Román urged the members to work close to the people, especially those who need it most, as he said that in Campeche «Olympus is over and now everyone has to be with the people listening to them and taking care of them».

«The task is not easy, Campeche also needs to sow solidarity and dedication. It is true, this custom did not exist, but we are learning it and only together can we achieve better results,» she emphasized.
Before, Rubén Ernesto Martínez Rodríguez, specified that according to INEGI, 7% of the Campeche population has some disability, and stressed that this figure in a real world should not represent something significant if everyone had the opportunity to exercise their rights. equal opportunities without any distinction.
«That is why he celebrated the installation of the council, because only by working together will it be possible to advance in the respect and inclusion of people with disabilities,» he stressed.
For his part, the general director of the State DIF, Mario Pavón Carrasco, stressed that for this administration it is important that actions in favor of people with disabilities are carried out together because «we cannot do it alone» the participation of state authorities is required. , municipal, academic and civil society.
