Completely prepared by campechanos teachers with the purpose that students identify, value and preserve the natural and cultural heritage, Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González received from the Secretary of Education, Ricardo Koh Cambranis, the free textbook Campeche, the entity where I live , edited by the National Commission for Free Textbooks (Conaliteg) and that will be distributed among third-grade primary school students throughout the state. In a ceremony held in the Governors’ Hall, where the Secretary General of the Government, Pedro Armentía López, was also present, the head of the Secretary of Education highlighted that Campeche is one more example at the national level, since it is the first fully updated version that a federative entity has managed to edit jointly with Conaliteg. «This was possible thanks to the work of the teachers who have kept the cost to a minimum, which other entities have not been able to achieve by having to entrust it to other entities and mean a greater expense,» he explained. He said that Campeche, the entity where I live, is the patrimony of all the Campechanos and contains updated information, since it includes, in its three modules and 14 sections, information on the 13 municipalities of the entity. “All this, because the municipality of Seybaplaya and the municipality of Dzitbalché are already recognized; and, in addition, it contains photographs that show the entity, its cultural and natural heritage, such as the Pueblos Mágicos, Palizada and Isla Aguada ”, he indicated. As part of the ceremony, they received recognition from the governor, the deputy director of Primary Education, Marina Elidé Chan Arcos, state coordinator of the free textbook Campeche, the entity where I live, and the authors: Professor David Enrique Canul Baranda, supervisor of the School Zone 001 in the capital city; Professor Pastoriano Chi Díaz, supervisor of School Zone 49 in Ciudad del Carmen; teacher Neri Guadalupe Ruiz Mex,teacher in duties at Antonia Díaz Elementary School; and Professor Gumercindo Tun Ku, an active teacher at the Carmen Meneses elementary school in Calkiní. At request of Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González, at the end of the ceremony, the state coordinator of the book and the campechanos teachers, authors, proceeded to sign two copies, one of them for the head of the State Executive and the other to integrate the General State Archive. Destined for the subject that will be given the same name: The Entity where I live, this book will be distributed among third grade primary school students, with the aim of strengthening learning related to the territory, history, culture, economy and society of the State of Campeche , which will allow children to identify and feel proud.
