GOVERNOR CMAG PUTS IN SERVICE 480 NEW VIDEO SURVEILLANCE VIDEO CAMERAS; THIS ADDS UP TO A THOUSAND 100 IN OPERATION

To strengthen actions to combat crime and preserve public order, Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González put into service -through the investment of 68.7 million pesos- 480 new  surveillance videocameras that make a total of 1,100 in operation; a modern intelligent monitoring platform capable of reviewing hours of video in minutes and instantly locating people and vehicles; the improvement of the 9-1-1 Emergency Call Service and the extension of the photovoltaic energy network in the facilities of the Control, Command, Communications, Computing and Surveillance Video Center (C-5)

After launching the  surveillance videocameras, the governor gave to the State Center  of Evalution and Control of Confidence (C3) the certificate issued by the National Center of Certification and Accreditation, which supports it  instance that operates in a systematic and articulated manner, and it has the infrastructure, equipment, required regulatory framework and specialized and reliable human resources.

Likewise, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Government, Pedro Armentía López and the commanders of the Third Naval Region, Octavio Trejo Hermida and of the 33rd Military Zone, Enrique Dena Salgado, 78 tourist police officers received uniforms and training certificates on the issues of Tourist Culture, Tourist Heritage and History of Campeche.

The governor said that public safety is a daily task that promises to be fully focused on the strategies and actions that guarantee the care of the campechanos and their patrimony.

He added that in order for Campeche to remain a safe entity, the security and law enforcement bodies have been strengthened with new vehicles and uniforms, both at the state and municipal level; Coordination efforts with federal institutions are strengthened through the Table for the Construction of Peace and Security, and the video surveillance system is reinforced with new and modern equipment.

Previously, the executive secretary of the State Public Security Council, Fernando Bolívar Galera, explained that the fourth stage of the video surveillance system, where 56 million 869 thousand 352 pesos were apply, is composed of  50 new intelligent monitoring points and 480 cameras,  reaching a total of 1,100 computers in operation throughout the state.

Campeche is a safe state, not by chance, It is because of the commitment that Governor Aysa González has had to strengthen the police infrastructure, to guarantee the tranquility of the Campechanos.

He explained that a new video recording and management platform was also implemented that will allow intelligent monitoring and more efficient administration of the system, and the application of analysis software that will allow reviewing hours of material in a matter of minutes, analyzing it quantitatively to obtain information. and instantly locate people and vehicles, among other items of interest.

In addition, to reinforce surveillance tasks in the entity’s main neighborhoods, 271 cameras were installed in the municipality of Campeche; in Carmen 144; incorporated the municipality of Hecelchakán with 19 equipments, The system was reinforced in the municipalities of Calkiní, Champotón and Hopelchén with 22 additional cameras and in Escárcega with 24.

He highlighted that in the municipality of Campeche, more than 15 kilometers of fiber optics were installed to improve the system’s data transmission capacity, and four screens with an LED panel were put into operation that will allow the transmisión of informative messages.

Additionally, 295 solar panels were installed in the C-5 building, through an investment of three million 695 thousand pesos, with which the photovoltaic network was increased to 425 cells, which will allow an annual saving in the electricity consumption of  45 percent.

Regarding the technological equipment to strengthen the 9-1-1 Emergency Call Service, he said that eight million 201 thousand 916 pesos were invested in the acquisition of commutator, servers and updating of the logical security service.

From his part, the Secretary of Public Security, Jorge Argáez Uribe, pointed out that Campeche is a safe state, it is no coincidence , because of the commitment that the Governor Aysa González has  strengthen the police infrastructure and because of the work that the police elements carry out permanently to guarantee the tranquility of the campechanos.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of Tourism, Jorge Manos Esparragoza, specified that the successful public policies that the governor put in place to face the pandemic has allowed Campeche to register a rapid recovery in the economic and tourism sectors, as demonstrated in the recent December holidays, in general hotel occupancy of 45 percent was obtained, well above the national average.
