GOVERNOR CMAG LAUNCHES VANGUARDIST FREE INTERNET PROGRAM OF THE CECYTEC PLANTEL PALIZADA

It is the first nationwide, within the Cecyte subsystem, to implement a public network for their students

PALIZADA-. Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González gave the start click of the iCECyTEC program of the Palizada campus of the College of Scientific and Technological Studies of Campeche, the only one at the national level that opens a public internet network to allowing  free connection to all its students, providing the download of educational material and task management, outside the educational facility.

At the end of his second day of visit in the municipality, in the midst of a heavy rainstorm Aysa González also put into service the photovoltaic system made up of 114 solar panels, the second in the entire Cecyte subsystem nationwide, since the first was put into service operation on October 19 in campus 01 of the school, located in the state capital.

«Nothing is going to stop us in the firm conviction that the new generations will have quality training,» said Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González during the event that he presided over in the multipurpose field of the educational building, together with the general secretaries of Government, Pedro Armentía López; of Social and Human Development, Christian Castro Bello and the mayoress Maritza Díaz Domínguez.

He highlighted that 10 days after the Cecytec campus in Campeche was the first in the entire country, within this educational subsystem, to start up a modern photovoltaic system, Palizada not only became the second site to also implement the use of solar panels to generate clean energy, but is at the forefront of digital connectivity, since it is the first to open a free public internet network for all its young students.

«Between modernity and innovation, we are taking a further step forward, favoring connectivity to global knowledge networks and protecting the environment through environmentally friendly energy solutions,» emphasized the state governor.

Aysa González specified that the free public internet is a fundamental tool for young people that requires for their preparation, especially in times of pandemic, where virtual school development has been very important not to stop the course of their preparation.

For her part, the mayoress  highlighted that the government of Carlos Miguel Aysa González has arrived to leave an indelible mark on the municipality, because with its support and commitment is leading Palizada towards development. «I have no words to thank for everything he does for the people of Palizada, we value all the actions he has carried out in such a short time,» she mentioned.

In the use of the floor, the director of Cecytec, Palizada campus, Jorge Carlos Díaz Canul, specified that the photovoltaic system made up of 114 solar panels and it has a useful life for 30 years and will allow energy savings of 80 percent on the campus. , regarding their annual consumption, meanwhile the iCECyTEC project will give students free internet access, so that through Chromebook devices they can manage their tasks, having a positive impact on the economy of their families.

The iCECyTEC public network will work every day from 2 in the afternoon to 6 in the morning, in this way, Cecytec students and any citizen will be able to access and have connectivity to make use of most of the applications and functions of their cell phone, your computer or tablet.

The radius of reach is 300 meters and has a capacity to support up to 70 simultaneous people with unlimited data consumption and it will be distributed at specific points located along the boardwalk such as the monument to the Mother, the wooden pier, the children’s recreational park and the Paseo de los Poetas.

Meanwhile, the photovoltaic system made up of 114 solar panels that will generate 70.8 megawatts per hour, contribute to caring for the environment and allow a reengineering the cost within the institution.

Previously, the head of the Executive Power delivered  the benefit for 73 producers from the communities of Santa Adelaida, Alamilla, El Juncal, El Zapote, Las Bodegas, El Mangal, La Corriente, Tila, Santa Cruz, Santa Isabel, San Juan, Ribera Gómez , Plan del Carmen, Popistal, Río Blanco, Los Playones, San Eduardo, Lagón Dulce and El Paraíso, resources for one million 277 thousand 631 pesos for the acquisition of livestock supplies.

Likewise, it was  granted to the president of the Local Livestock Association, Gilberto del Carmen Cabrales Centeno, furniture and computer equipment for the administrative area of the Local Livestock Association.

Also at the event they were present the secretaries of Health, José Luis González Pinzón; Rural Development, Ignacio España Novelo; Planning Development Tirzo García Sandoval and Sustainable Energy Development ,José Antonio del Río Gonzalez ; Attorney General,Juan Manuel Herrera Campos and the general Director of the Institute Physical Education Infrastructure of the state, Rossina Saravia Lugo.
