Given the announcement that Campeche has advanced to the yellow phase of the epidemiological risk traffic light for COVID-19, Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González made a strong call to the population not to relax the application of preventive health measures or lower their guard, because the emergency is not over yet.

In a message transmitted by social networks this afternoon, the governor pondered that, although the announcement is good news in these difficult times and encourages us to move forward, it is necessary that everyone continue to contribute their effort and act with prudence, good sense and commitment to the state and families.

“In the fight against the pandemic, no effort has been and will not be minimal; Teamwork will continue to be essential, that is why I want to call on you not to lower our guard, not to throw the bells flying, much less to relax the application of the sanitary measures that have allowed us to contain, until now, a greater spread of the virus «, he stressed.

He stressed that the participation of the people is decisive to continue advancing in the return to daily activities. «Let’s not miss out on how much we have come together. Let’s continue taking care that the emergency is not over yet. Let us continue to protect ourselves, using the mask, keeping a healthy distance and constantly washing hands ”, he urged.

Aysa González thanked doctors, nurses and administrative personnel from public and private institutions in the sector for all their effort, work and professionalism; Meanwhile, the Campeche population was recognized for their determination to assume health care with social and family responsibility.
