At the Table for the Construction of Peace, Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González summoned the campechanos to generate greater social awareness about the importance of complying with health protocols to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
In a video call with state and federal authorities, the governor insisted that in order to combat the pandemic, in addition to strengthening the hospital infrastructure and the effort made by medical personnel, it is essential that the population apply all the sanitary measures already disseminated.
«We must be persistent in appealing to the population that if they abide by all preventive health actions, they are protecting their lives and that of their family, since at the moment no other measure is envisaged that gives certainty in this regard,» he stressed. .
Aysa González reiterated his appreciation to the medical personnel who are at the forefront of the battlefield against COVID-19 every day, risking their own lives, while adding that no effort will be sufficient if people do not abide by the recommended preventive measures.
At the meeting, the Health Secretary, José Luis González Pinzón, reported on the epidemiological situation in the state and assured that there are sufficient diagnostic tests.
