…With more than 50 participants, the State Institute of Culture and Arts carries out the activity “Painting the sunset”
…The dynamic was part of the celebrations for World Art Day
On the occasion of World Art Day, which is celebrated every April 15, the Institute of Culture and Arts of the State of Campeche (ICAECAM) carried out an exercise of expression in an open space with more than 50 girls and boys, who were inspired by in the evening of the city to make a painting.
Taking as a landscape the sea of Campeche whose waves invited calm, flocks of birds and the beautiful sunset that characterizes the city’s boardwalk, the participants combined colors of paint to make their works of art, accompanied by teachers from the «La Chácara» Center for Children and Youth Culture, as well as their families.
With these actions, the Government of Layda Sansores, through ICAECAM, seeks the artistic development of children by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge.
