With the aim of giving transparency and certainty to the budget exerted, the Secretariat of Culture of the Executive Power of the State (SECULT), summoned a working meeting with the directors of the municipalities, where the budget program to exercise corresponding to the resources was exposed by the federal and it reaches an amount of 10 million pesos.
At that meeting, head of SECULT, Delio Carrillo Pérez explained in detail each of the projects that will be executed with federal resources, emphasizing that the highest percentage of resources will directly benefit creators, artists, teachers and cultural promoters from across all the state. To guarantee this, he explained that there will be 14 convocation that will be issued for participation in contests and incentives that will promote and disseminate the artistic production of Campeche.
The most important of these convocation is «Campeche, culture at home» with an investment of more than 2 million pesos where, through the economic incentives, the cultural community will be supported during the COVID-19 health contingency through the production of audiovisual .
Is considered also convocation with the theme of inclusion, gender perspective, cultural identity, incentives for training, poetry awards, painting and children’s culture programs that will be available for consultation through www.culturacampeche.com
Carrillo Pérez emphasized that the national programs recommended by the Secretariat of Culture of the Government of Mexico are also complied with, in which the virtual modality for the development of activities will be considered at all times.
Lastly, he acknowledged the support of the federal instance for the positive response to his management of this program that adds to the strategy of the State Government for the benefit of the campechanos.
