In response to the instructions of Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González to help the population to reinforce the prevention against the spread of Covid-19, personnel of the State Council for Public Safety (CESP) intensified the distribution of mouth masks among the citizens.
In different parts of the city, awareness-raising actions were carried out to promote hygiene and protection measures such as frequent hand washing, the use of antibacterial gel, as well as masks or face masks, to reduce the spread of SARS-CoV2.
During this preventive day, 750 reusable mouth covers were distributed among local merchants of rural products and owners of small businesses, citizens who passed through the main avenues, and the other point visited was the Bellavista neighborhood, where the residents recognized the importance of this and other measures applied by the state administration.
As instructed by the head of the State Executive, the protection masks were delivered in a personalized way, in addition to hygiene recommendations, constant and correct hand washing, the application of alcohol-gel, the so-called sneezing of etiquette, maintain a healthy distance and, as far as possible, reduce mobility and remain in confinement.
