COVID-19 PREVENTIVE MEASURES APPLY TO ALL DEPENDENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT OF CAMPECHE

In response to the recommendations of the Secretaries of Federal and State Health, and before the warrant of the Governor of Campeche, Carlos Miguel Aysa González, dependencies of the Executive Power of the State of Campeche implemented preventive and sanitary measures that contribute to reducing the risks of contagion before the Covid-19 outbreak in other parts of the country.

Thus, in secretariats, decentralized organizations, the education sector and in the Social Communication Unit, they reinforced the preventions with the application of antibacterial gel to employees and citizens who attend each of them, in addition to talks given by health personnel so that workers have first-hand information about the virus and its prevention.

Since last week, in crowded places, trained personnel, who attend directly to the population wearing face masks, apply antibacterial gel and urge to minimize physical contact and carry out continuous hand washing every five minutes.

In other instances besides the application of the gel at the entrance, to those who come to carry out procedures, the workers themselves clean their work areas and intensify the online procedures to reduce the influx of people. They also adopted the use of signs with sanitary recommendations and the temporary suspension of the checker clock.

Likewise, in compliance with protocols established by the State Committee on Health Safety so that they are prepared for the implementation of the National Day of «Sana Distancia» that begins on March 23, allusive posters were placed and the general application of antibacterial was carried out , especially in schools.

In the 37 schools and the General Directorate of COBACAM, the sanitary actions were also reinforced, the use of gel with 70% alcohol for students, teaching and administrative personnel. In addition, information on the contingency is disseminated and Health Prevention Committees were installed in the 37 schools and administrative offices. Similar actions were replied by Conalep Campeche, by installing the Health Commissions, school filters, and adhering to the Healthy Distance Day.

Other measures applied in the different instances are the alarm to remember hand washing and the rigorous use of face masks, in addition to attending to the constant recommendations and information issued by the Ministry of Health; the placement of posters with basic sanitary rules, informative talks to the staff, covering the sneeze with the internal angle of the arm, frequently cleaning the work area, avoiding waving, kissing or hugging, and maintaining a minimum distance of one meter between people who come to carry out procedures or work meetings.
