Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González instructed his cabinet officials to apply greater austerity measures, to be more efficient in the exercise of the budget and to support the people who need it the most due to the effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
When meeting with heads of state, federal and Armed Forces dependencies, within the framework of the working session of the State Coordination Center COVID-19, Aysa González pointed out that although the priority of attention is in the health sector, it is necessary to continue strengthening actions to support productive activities and low-income families.
«The current times deserve that we apply greater austerity measures in expenses that do not interfere in the provision of services and the works programs, so that we can strengthen savings and increase benefits to people who need more help,» exposed.
The state president also spoke about the excellent results that Campeche obtained in the evaluation of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, regarding the transparent and efficient management of the resources transferred by the Federation in the first quarter of the year.
He recognized that the maximum rating of 100 that the state received, is a product of the work that the different agencies have developed to effectively exercise resources and improve the welfare conditions of the population.
Given this, he urged officials to conduct themselves with absolute honesty: «You are responsible for your actions, so you must be very scrupulous in the transparent use of the budget and take care that every penny is exercised correctly.»
In his opportunity, the Secretary of Education, Ricardo Koh Cambranis, emphasized that in the dining room of the Siglo XXI Community Development Center, with the support of the State DIF System, food rations are offered to families. He stated that while that moment arrives, the state strategy Learn in Family from Home, through the learning cards that are downloaded from the Seduc portal, offer the necessary tools to strengthen the contents of initial education plans and programs , preschool, primary, secondary, physical and special, which helps to strengthen family ties and enrich digital skills.
He commented that work is also being done on the design of a security protocol for returning to classrooms that includes actions to avoid dropouts, offer academic regularization and socio-emotional support to students and teachers.
Meanwhile, given the increase in cyber fraud in the country, the executive secretary of the State Council for Public Safety, Fernando Bolívar Galera, presented a strategy for disseminating preventive measures to alert the community to the circulation of false information, as well as attention of complaints to 9-1-1.
