With an economic incentive of $ 100,000.00 (one hundred thousand pesos), the Secretary of Culture of the Executive Power of the State of Campeche (SECULT), in coordination with the Calkiní City Council and with the constant support of the Secretary of Culture of the Government of Mexico through the Support Program for State Institutions of Culture (AIEC), summon the XXIX International Poetry Prize «Ramón Iván Suárez Caamal 2020».
In this contest it seeks to motivate literary creation, artists born in Campeche or with a minimum residence of 5 years in the state and all resident or native writers from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador may participate.
The person who result winner will also obtain the publication of their work by the State Secretary of Culture. Being timely notified the award ceremony will be held on November 30, 2020 within the framework of the Calkiní Annual Fair or in the circumstances that the convening institution determines according the information provided by the health authorities.
To participate, the contestants must send along with the work, a sealed envelope, identified with their pseudonym and the title of the work, containing the full name of the author, address, email, telephone, copy of official identification and a brief summary curricular. On the other hand, foreign participants must include a document proving their nationality.
