Diesel’s second Pride collection has landed with an accompanying film centred on gender identity.
Diesel are coming out strong with their sophomore Pride collection: a 49-piece capsule, that includes eveything from boxer-briefs, bikinis, jockstraps, t-shirts, sweatshirts and plenty of accessories.
Designs see the Italian brand’s slogan ‘Diesel Only the Brave’ paired Pride rainbow, and another, ‘Diesel, for successful living’, changed to ‘loving’.
The colleciton comes with an accompanying campaign film, ‘Francesca’, which sees its subject coming to terms with their identity, as well as images featuring LGBTQ models including Ian Isiah and Saro (shot at home due to Covid-19, natch).
Diesel have had a long history of putting their money where their mouth is when it comes to championing diversity and inclusion, and the new Pride collection will see Diesel and OTB Foundation set up a fund to support international projects dealing with gender identity and integration into the work market.
Of course, we’re also pleased to know our newly-purchased Chromatica jockstrap will have a friend in our wardrobe.
