From July 12 to August 4, the ‘Oaxaca and Guelaguetza’ event will take place in the Plaza de la República in this city, offering cultural and gastronomic exhibitions, as well as artistic presentations such as dances and music, according to Alberto Vázquez. Sánchez, Master Craftsman and Director of the Cultural Group ‘Oaxaca: Art, Festival and Tradition’.
Accompanied by Claudia Carranco, head of the Art and Management Unit of the Institute of Culture and Arts, Vázquez Sánchez highlighted that this event has nearly 20 years of tradition in Campeche.

The main Oaxacan dishes will be presented such as mole negro, chicatanas, the famous tlayudas and horchata, among others. In addition, in the afternoons there will be presentations of the most traditional dances of Oaxaca.
There will be a free artistic kite workshop for children, starting July 20, organized by ‘Pelota Mixteca’ and the Institute of Culture and Arts.
