I want to recognize the entire staff of doctors of Campeche on this World Health Day, for their work, and dedication in favor of the families of Campeche.
I extend great appreciation to the discipline, responsibility and commitment with which we have all assumed the great challenge that COVID- 19 represents .
Thanks to this joint effort to respect health indications , Campeche is one of the states with the least positive cases.
Neither his server nor any member of the government that I head has minimized or underestimated the threat that this virus represents to the health of all families.
I have been in communication with the health authorities of the federal and state government. With the mayors of the 11 municipalities, with the chambers, business sectors, the cabinet structure and civil organizations.
I am aware that these are times of prudence, but also of taking concrete actions that make this moment less difficult for everyone.
This is why I am writing to you to report on the actions that are being taken and will be launched to address this contingency.
We started a Food Security Program prioritizing our indigenous communities.
Reaffirming the agreement signed with the CFE, 260 thousand families in the state, not exceeding kilowatt – hour set by the municipality , will be a subsidy of 50% on your electric bill in the summer rate from 1 April until September 30.
To guarantee that the economy continues its rhythm, we will invest 2 , 400 million pesos in public works in the 11 municipalities and I have instructed that the companies and the material that is used, be purchased from peasant companies.
We will deliver small credits and microcredit and target companies through Bacampeche and I have instructed that for those who have current credits, a payment moratorium is respected if they require it.
We are promptly attending to the demands of the peasants, fishermen and other productive sectors of the state through the secretariats.
All the coastal fishermen have already been given the payment for closure and low catch; and in the next few hours the payment will be started to deep-sea fishermen.
I inform all suppliers of the State Government with processed invoices for payment until March 31 that they have already been paid.
Through the Ministry of Finance, we will provide the municipalities with resources for legal concepts that were traditionally granted in the second half of the year, so that they can attend to this emergency on time.
Resources will be injected through my Government to remodel and rescue more than 550 public spaces in the 11 municipalities, which new jobs will be generated and the economy will remain dynamic.

We are prepared and ready for whatever is required. Campeche is among the 5 states with the most beds per thousand inhabitants.
Be assured and reassured that for me, the most important thing is the health of all of you.
I will spare no effort or time to continue working for the good of all families in the state.
We are going to get ahead and continue working with everyone to make this delicate moment of state, national and world life less difficult.
Protecting the campechanos is my first obligation as governor and I will fulfill it fully during this emergency , and every day of my government you count on me and I count on you.
