He mentioned that by declaring the body in permanent session, the authorities of the three levels of government are assuming the commitment to strengthen measures of attention and response to the population, under the same leadership, so as not to multiply or disperse the efforts.
Armentía López emphasized that with the participation of mayors, federal authorities and state authorities in Campeche, an example of governability and unity is given. «Working in coordination with the 11 municipalities, federal officials and the state, we are giving certainty to the campechanos that their safety and protection are above any group or partisan interest,» he said.
He commented that through the State Council for Civil Protection, timely decisions will be made to strengthen, for example, communication strategies, hospital and health care, public safety, supply, and emergency procurement.
Finally, it meant that in the meeting the mayors assumed the commitment to install the health, safety and civil protection committees in their municipalities, thereby ensuring that the measures taken to safeguard the population reach all corners of the state.
